Ahoy all.  Just wanted to update everyone on a few things.  

First of all, I created an artist profile on that most infamous of social networking sites Facebook.  Go to www.facebook.com/AdamMaloneyAr… and like the hell out of that page.  Then tell your friends to do the same.  I won't post everything there, but I will post a lot of my stuff.  The positive side is that I am actually ON Facebook at least every other day so it won't be months between journal entries.

Secondly (but more importantly) I have a few pieces in the pipeline.  I will burst my gallery showing cherry in early January.  On January 7th, 2012 a  new piece of mine will be shown at the Hive Gallery in downtown LA as part of their 2012 Tarot show.  This is super exciting for me and if anyone is able, you should come out.  There will be lots of pieces there (all for sale) including a sculpture by my girlfriend Ver Mar ( www.facebook.com/vermarartist ).  Entry to the Hive is generally about $8 and the shows generally start around 8pm and run to about 11pm.  For more info go to www.hivegallery.com.

As I said, there are a few more things in the pipeline, but I don't want to go into details until I have something to show.  I also have a few ideas for some more pieces.  This should result in me actually posting shit in 2012.  It may be the end of the world, but at least I should have an artistically productive year.

On my own band's music front, we are finishing up the recording that began so long ago this coming Saturday.  Wohaa!

On the boo side of things, my vacation to San Fran for my birthday with my girlfriend is now over and we are back home. Le sigh.  Stupid having to come back to the real world.  It was tons of fun while it lasted though and we are definitely going to go up there again as soon as we can!

Ahhh....favorite holiday ever.

Finished the final book in Terry Pratchett's series of books about Tiffany Aching, I SHALL WEAR MIDNIGHT. It is truly a beautiful book. The world has truly been blessed to have had that man sharing his stories with it. I don't care what age you are...go to the younge adult section of your local book store and pick up the whole series starting with WEE FREE MEN. You will be a better person for having read it.
