This is the front of the birthday card I made for my girlfriend. I have other stuff that I desperately NEED to be drawing, but...well...I got this idea for a card for her and I'll be damned if I was going to let it slip away. **resolutely slams right fist into the palm of his left hand**

Anywho, I really like how this turned out. Not bad for the first thing I've drawn in like...er...way to effing long (and yes I know that the light source if FUBAR; I just kinda shaded things in whatever random fashion looked cool for that individual part of the picture. If you have a problem with that then go lick a llama). Hmm...I really should finish the drawings for that children's book I'm supposed to be illustrating. **shifty eyes**

You know the real funny part of the picture is how the kid totally has this look, "Oh dammit, not again..." :rofl:

Little hints of aliens gleam through a massive number of tentacles... :D

You know you just gave me a pretty awesome(at least so it seems to me at the moment) say, how about a character in a story, on whose every single birthday a striking event or a total disaster is scheduled? :D And this can be used in the storyline for something, like a superhero's special ability :rofl:

Awwwww thanks :hug: :blowkiss: I commanded myself to comment more often from now on, so hopefully I won't be so silent anymore :D things are going pretty good here. I'm done with almost all of my exams now, there are only two left :D
